What is EAO Membership?

Membership is more than simply joining.

EAO membership means becoming an active part of Educate An Orphan Uganda's community and supporting its mission through participation, commitment and service.

Members help strengthen EAO's work by staying connected, supporting campaigns, participating in activities and fulfilling their membership responsibilities.

How Membership Works

From application to active membership

Becoming an EAO member is a straightforward process designed to ensure every member understands their place, responsibilities and opportunities within the organisation.

Complete the Form

Choose the membership category that applies to you and complete the appropriate EAO membership form with accurate information.

Pay Registration Fee

Pay the applicable one-time registration fee: UGX 10,000 for Senior Members or UGX 5,000 for Junior Members.

Eligibility Verification

EAO staff review the information submitted and verify the applicant's eligibility for membership.

Receive Approval

Successful applicants receive confirmation by SMS, email, or both using the contact details provided.

Receive Your Member ID

Once approved, every member receives a unique EAO Member ID that identifies their membership.

Complete Enrollment

EAO staff may contact you to complete enrollment, explain member responsibilities and assign you to a membership group.

What happens after you submit?

Please allow EAO staff time to review your application. Our team may contact you using the phone number, email address or other preferred contact details you provide. Additional information may be requested before your enrollment is completed.

Junior Member

Designed for children and young people below 18 years who wish to be part of the EAO community.

One-time registration fee

UGX 5,000

Requirements

Complete and submit the Junior Membership Form
Provide the required applicant information
Pay the UGX 5,000 registration fee
Await EAO eligibility verification
Receive membership confirmation
Complete enrollment when contacted by EAO staff

Where applicable, EAO may require parent or guardian involvement during enrollment.

18 years and above

Senior Member

Designed for adults aged 18 years and above who wish to join and actively support EAO's mission.

One-time registration fee

Complete and submit the Senior Membership Form
Provide accurate contact information
Pay the UGX 10,000 registration fee
Await EAO eligibility verification
Receive membership confirmation
Complete enrollment and group assignment when contacted

Successful applicants will receive their unique EAO Member ID after approval.

EAO Membership Groups

Four groups. One EAO community.

After approval and enrollment, members may be assigned to one of EAO's four membership groups. The groups make communication, coordination and participation easier across the EAO community.

A connected EAO membership group where leaders help coordinate communication and encourage participation across the organisation.

Group leaders help maintain communication with members and keep everyone informed about EAO's activities, campaigns, events and important membership reminders.

WhatsApp Groups

Each membership group has a WhatsApp group managed by its group leaders for convenient communication and coordination.

Timely Updates

Members can receive information about EAO activities, campaigns, events, announcements and monthly commitment reminders.

Group Coordination

Group leaders help members stay connected and coordinate participation in EAO activities and campaigns.

Your communication preference matters

Members may choose whether they consent to being added to their group's WhatsApp group. EAO group leaders may also maintain contact with members through their selected preferred communication method.

Your Role as a Member

Membership is more than registration.

EAO membership is a shared commitment. Every member has a role to play in helping the organisation remain connected, active and able to serve children and communities.

Maintain Your Commitment

Pay your monthly membership commitment of at least UGX 10,000 through EAO's available payment methods.

Participate

Take part in EAO activities, campaigns, events and community initiatives whenever you are able.

Stay Informed

Keep up with EAO announcements, campaigns, activities and important membership communications.

Keep Your Details Updated

Maintain accurate contact information so EAO and your group leaders can reach you when necessary.

Support the Mission

Contribute your time, ideas, skills, networks or resources where you can help advance EAO's mission.

Uphold EAO Values

Represent EAO responsibly and uphold the organisation's principles, values and commitment to serving communities.

Monthly Member Commitment

UGX 10,000minimum / month

Every EAO member has a role in sustaining the organisation's work. Members are expected to contribute a minimum of UGX 10,000 every month through EAO's available payment methods.
